Use TrackCV Inside Claude and Other AI Agents (MCP)

mcpproductresumeai

The most tedious part of tailoring a résumé is not the writing — it's the shuffling. You paste a job description into one tab, your résumé into another, and then play human diff tool: which requirements do I actually meet, which bullets should I lead with, what am I missing? TrackCV already does that analysis. Now you can run it without leaving the assistant you're already talking to.

TrackCV is live as an MCP server. MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is the open standard that lets AI agents call real tools instead of guessing. Connect TrackCV once, and Claude (or Cursor, or any MCP client) can analyze a posting, structure your résumé, and score the match on demand — using the same logic that powers the app, not a hallucinated approximation.

What you can do from the chat

Three TrackCV tools become available to your assistant:

  • Analyze a job — turn a raw posting into structured requirements: must-haves, nice-to-haves, key phrases, seniority, and industry. No more eyeballing a wall of text.
  • Extract résumé blocks — turn your résumé into clean, consistent sections (header, experience, education, skills) with a per-block confidence score, so the assistant works from structure instead of a blurry paste.
  • Match résumé to job — get an overall match score plus per-block advice: include this, cut that, rewrite this bullet to hit the requirement it's dancing around.

Because the assistant reasons over those results, whole workflows come free. "Tailor my résumé to this job." "Which three requirements am I weakest on?" "Rewrite my experience bullets to match the must-haves." You get the analysis and the edit in one back-and-forth.

Connecting takes about two minutes

Open your MCP client's connector settings, add a custom connector, and paste the Keelara MCP server URL — leave the OAuth fields blank, since registration is automatic. Sign in with a free Keelara account (email or Google), set the TrackCV tools to Always allow, and you're done. The full walkthrough, including the exact server URL and an FAQ, lives on the TrackCV MCP page.

Analyzing a job is free. Résumé extraction and matching are metered, so you only pay for the heavier calls when you actually use them — and you can try any tool live, with example inputs, in the Keelara console playground linked from that same page.

Once the assistant can see your résumé as structured data, the next steps get easier too. Keep versioning and logging where each CV goes in your CV Vault, track the outcomes in the job tracker, and when an interview lands, chain over to CrushMyInterview — also an MCP server — to rehearse the exact role. One connector, one login, the whole loop.

The point of an MCP interface isn't novelty. It's removing the copy-paste tax from the work you were already going to do. Connect TrackCV, point your assistant at the next job you're chasing, and let it do the shuffling.
